Most treasured memories of your time at the radio station: Wendy fainting on the breakfast show and slipping onto the floor as she gasped the last words of her SOC … "WB reporting” The only time without inflection!

Trying to read the midnight weather and close-down message when David Willis had returned from the pub. As I was saying, in sombre tones, “and don’t forget, if you are alone tonight, the Samaritans are there to listen” Willis could be seen out of the corner of my eye, in the news booth, on the chair, trousers round ankles, mooning through the glass.

Muddy days at the Devon County Shows… Sunny days at the County Shows.
Long lunches at the Bystock…
Very long lunches at the Bystock.
